Critical Success Factor (CSF) Analysis for Successful Project Completion

Multi-dimensional critical success factors (CSF) for successful construction of infrastructure projects, would be of considerable practical value to construction industry as construction organizations appraise their projects and take investment decisions. This study aims to provide a classification system that can facilitate the identification of risks associated with CSF and formulation of mitigation, development strategies and appropriate management control measures for project implementation. From the literature review, 30 factors were identified which was further analyzed and ranked for successful completion and sustainability of construction project. Interviews will be carried out at the project sites to gather detailed explanation from the project team about each factor and to determine the most critical factors that must taken into consideration by all parties to ensure that all projects are successfully completed.
