Abstract

The Subject of the Islamic movement and propagation in Malaysia is a vital subject to be explored and analyzed with the objectives, among others, at describing the courageous efforts of Islamic preachers who -for decades- had dutifully carried out this noble course. The book will give the Muslims an opportunity to reevaluate and to carry out the necessary corrective measures on their organized movement, so that these movements will not become redundant, and are ever able to meet the demand and the changing needs of modern time, while at the same time firmly uphold the Islamic principles in every aspect of their work. The book also touches on the historical aspect of the subject with a detail study on the more significant and widely accepted of these Islamic movements, their structures, objectives as well as their modus operandi. A brief comparative study is later made between these movements and other Islamic organizations in other parts of the Islamic world.
