Abstract

This work introduces a new meta-heuristic algorithm, termed as Simine Jackal algorithm, designed to solve optimization problems. The algorithm is formulated based on copulation characteristics of Jackals endemic to Ethiopia. The presentation includes performance tests by considering benchmark optimization problems and identification of AutoRegression eXtra (ARX) models for a gas turbine generator. The tests showed promising results.
