Abstract

Bloom’s Taxonomy, although universally recognized, if not endorsed, has been given a free ride for too much of its history. Some obvious shortcomings need to be shored up, if not simply pointed out. The current article seeks to upgrade Bloom’s epoch-making contribution to pedagogy and repair its worst distortions as to the nature of learning, utilizing both new and old material.
