Abstract

Mobile learning (M-learning) is the current technology that is becoming more popular. It uses the current mobile and wireless computing technology to complement the effectiveness of conventional learning process. A line of studies indicated that utilizing of mobile device as a learning instrument can influence the way students learn, affect learning environment, and increase learners' performance. The main aim of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of the developed mobile learning tool (M-LT) which is running on Window enabled device. This study used Quasi experimental design with the sample study consisted of 120 foundation students, 60 students for each control and experiment group. To test effectiveness and usability, quantitative and qualitative data were used. The results show that M-LT is effective and useful for students in learning Structured Programming course.
