Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of an
autonomous ball feeder mobile robot capable of feeding the
ball into the outer torch. The purpose of designing the robot is to enter ROBOCON 2005 robot contest organized by SIRIM. The robot is controlled using PIC18F4620 microcontroller chip using C programming language. Pre-programmable or line follower mechanism is attached to the robot to provide line tracking capabilities to guide the robot into the target area. Special ball feeder mechanism is attached to robot base to feed the ball into the outer torch.
