Abstract

Social learning using Social Networking Sites such as Facebook.com and its relationship with the concepts of Vygotsky's Sociocultural Learning Theory are reviewed in this paper. Its potential effects to learners during social learning and possibility to be applied in learning institutes are discussed conceptually. Growth of users registered with Facebook gained interest for researchers to view its educational aspects especially from the concept of Vygotskian.
