Abstract

Instead of focusing on the learning of English as a subject taught in the language classrooms, the focus is on the practices students are engaged in which involve the use of English both inside and outside of these language classes.
I used both quantitative and qualitative methods to gather information for this research. Quantitative data were collected using surveys in the form of questionnaires and qualitative data were gathered through interviews and observation.
