Abstract

System (NHIS) sharing of personal health
information will be widely implemented in
distributed and interoperable environment
regardless of the location, time and people.
Since the sensitivity of patient health record is
widely concerned; therefore there must be
proper security policy been applied through out
the process in order to protect the patient’s as
well as the stakeholders privacy. The
effectiveness of security policies that enable
sharing of health information for multi-agency
should be provided. This research generally
discus the overview of the proposed language for
multi-agency health information system (MAHIS)
which intended to represent the Anderson’s 9
principles of security policy. This paper also
discuses the methodology used by the researcher
during the process of creating the language. In
future, this research will continue to develop
more basic requirement to complete language
before performing any test by applying the
proposed Malaysian National Health
Information System model as the case study to
evaluate the applicable of the language.
